Adeniyi Ademoroti, on writing their story for Feel Good
What inspired your story?
It’s been a while now (2016, i think?) but i think i honestly just really wanted to write something really gay and really druggy, and I got high (stupidly) one day and wrote this.
How did you approach developing your story's main character?
Every story for me begins with character, so it’s a lot less developing them and more following and discovering them, their fullness.
What's your favorite moment from the story and why?
The part where the sky breaks open and the main character talks about the herald arriving and seeing that man is capable of making beautiful things.
What do you hope readers take away from this story?
I’m not sure. I’m thinking that’s for each reader to decide.
